Career:
Mr. Poulakos is one of the founding partners of the Firm. Prior to this, he was a partner in another Athens based Law Firm. He currently heads the Firm's employment law and litigation department.
His extensive experience across the entire labour and employment law spectrum, including litigation and labour dispute resolution is an invaluable asset of the Firm. He has represented many Greek and multinational companies in various labour and employment law matters such as, employment contracts, termination and post termination matters, structuring employment and benefit arrangements, negotiating and developing employee regulations and handbooks, occupational health and safety matters, collective bargaining agreements and negotiations with trade unions, social security issues, assignment/secondment agreements, etc.
Mr. Poulakos has also extensive litigation experience in both commercial and civil law matters, including cases involving disputes, agency and distributorship agreements, breach of contract, fraud, creditor's rights on bankruptcy, banking and commercial torts, etc.
He is a member of the Athens Bar Association and is qualified to appear before the Supreme Courts of Greece.
In 1993 he worked as Special Counsel in the office of the Deputy Minister of Welfare and Social Security and participated in drafting a legislative scheme for this Ministry titled "Measures for the Treatment/Resolution of the Nations' Demographic Problem".
